Old Muzie is closing. Move your account, students, and lessons over to the new Muzie in a few clicks, and pick up right where you left off.
Migrate my studioOld Muzie (muzie.studio) closes on September 30, 2026. Here is what that means for you.
Old Muzie keeps working as usual. Move over whenever you are ready. The sooner you do, the smoother it is.
muzie.studio shuts down for good, and New Muzie at app.muzie.live becomes your studio's home.
If you have not moved yet, signing in sends you here to migrate before you can keep teaching.
If you bring students across on Pro, they get an email from Muzie. To finish setting up, they:
On Lite there are no student accounts. You share a classroom link instead, and students join with no sign-up. More in the FAQ below.
We bring your studio across to New Muzie: your account, students, classrooms, files, notes, assignments, practice history, upcoming lessons, and recordings. You choose what to bring during migration, then pick up right where you left off.
No. The old free account, which was just 1:1 lessons with a chat window, is going away. The new Lite plan replaces it at $12/mo. Lite is a paid plan, but it does far more: HD video with music-grade audio, an interactive whiteboard, MIDI instruments, screen sharing, group classes, lesson clips, and shared files and assignments.
Lite ($12/mo) has no student accounts: you create classrooms and share a join link with your students. Pro ($24/mo) adds student accounts, so students keep their logins, practice tracking, assignments, and progress, plus a central library, scheduling, and AI tools. Choose Pro when you migrate if you want to keep your student list. See our pricing page for the full comparison.
On Pro, the students you bring across get an email asking them to go to app.muzie.live and reset their password. Once they do, they can log in and everything of theirs is there. On Lite there are no student accounts, so instead you share a classroom link for students to join lessons, with no sign-up needed.
Old Muzie (muzie.studio) closes that day. After it closes, the next time you try to sign in you'll be sent here to migrate before you can keep using Muzie. Moving early avoids any interruption.
Migrating is free. You choose a plan, Lite, Pro, or Studio, as part of moving over, and that plan is what you pay for going forward.
No. Everything you choose to bring comes across, including your files, recordings, notes, assignments, and practice history.
